Boost Your Intuition and Manifest in Life


Over the years I’ve read more than my share books on affirmations, Law of Attraction/Abundance, Psychic/Channeling/Mediumship, Positive Mental Attitude and whatever I could get my hands upon as well as Spirit giving me varied messages along the way to assist in my journey.


I would like to think that I can give some of that wisdom back into the Universe and open some doors into your future. Always remember, the future is not set in stone. As a Spirit having a human experience we have this thing called free will. Lovely thing this free will, I’ve used it a lot in my life (insert small chuckle here) When we exercise our free will with enlightened future changing skills, we can change some things in our life for the better. Our own personal journey and our mindset can always change for the better.


Positive affirmations can be described as a form of meditation as when repeated they form a kind of chant. They can also be described as “wishing words” for changing our attitudes, feelings and situations in our life.


So What My Lovelies is a Positive Affirmation?


Affirmations are short, powerful statements of you being in conscious control of what you are thinking and wanting to bring into your life and being. When you say them out loud or think them or even hear them, they become the thoughts that create your reality.

Positive affirmations are a combination of using the Laws of Attraction, using all of the power of the mind-body-spirit dynamic. Your wishes are activated via vibration into the Universe when voiced. Through repetition, the conscious mind imparts onto the subconscious mind through key phrases.


Positive affirmations are declarative of positive statements you say to yourself and to the Universe to change your mindset of distorted beliefs and thoughts. These are the things that we tell ourselves when we want to make changes to our being, when we want to make change happen in our lives, changing a habit etc. The more we tell ourselves something, the more we believe it, the more it can instil that change in us.


How Does This Work?


Our brains are wired in this modern day to be switched on 24/7.  It is the conscious brain that does all of our everyday processes. It finally gets a rest when we sleep. That’s when the unconscious (or subconscious) brain can come out to play. Usually it is usually quietly running in the background or comes out when we are being artistic. Usually this is the state we want our brains to be in when we work psychically. The subconsious brain also comes out when we sleep...dream.


The unconscious mind is where our truth lies. We can try and think things with the conscious mind, but it’s within the subconscious where our real beliefs are. So by utilising positive affirmations we can mold new realities for ourselves by bringing conscious thought and changing it with information imprinted upon our unconscious.


Deep hey, actually it’s quite an easy process. Basically, it takes 30 days to break a habit...right! Like exercising, 30 days to make a new habit. So by repeating what you want in your life it can instil in you a new more positive mindset as well as putting those verbal vibrations out into the Universe so it can start the manifesting process. Plus it puts out the right vibrations to attract the right Spirit Guides for you to work with.


So let’s begin the process.


1. Write Down What You Want. Write Some Positive Affirmations for Yourself.

Decide what you want for yourself and what you want in your life. What would you like to change for yourself? There are some suggestions at the end of this post. Choose as many or as little as you want Five is usually a good number to begin with. Write them out in your words and use positive terminology. You will be repeating these 2 to 3 times a day (or as many times as you want), so keep them short.

You can write your affirmations in a journal, as reminders in your phone, put them as a screen saver on your computer, write them on index cards or on a vision board. Writing is a great way to connect both the conscious and unconscious mind. E.G. TV Psychic Tyler Henry doodles/scribbles whilst he gets information from Spirit during readings.


2. Read Them Out Loud 2 to 3 Times a Day

Speak the positive affirmations out loud. I usually find morning and last thing at night is easier for me. You may like to record them and play them back to you whilst you are showering in the morning to save time, listen to them on the commute to work or last thing in night whilst falling asleep.

In the beginning it may not sound like ‘your truth’, but repetition does change this eventually. Regardless, say them, say them into a mirror to really get some conviction behind your words.).


3. Visualise, Visualisation Boards

I’m a visual person and when I see things it helps in getting my mind clearer on what I want. Try making a visualisation board or journal. Cut out words and images from magazines of what you want with inspiring words to assist to paste around the images. Remember this is being creative and that again is getting the right and left brain, the conscious and unconscious mind to open up.

For Example (not psychic related) but when I wanted to get fit a long time ago, I found images of women the same age as me who had accomplished what I was wanting to do, lose weight, gain some muscle and look fit. I wanted before and after images too. I stuck those pictures up everywhere including in my pantry. What inspiration that was.

You can even make up visualisation boards as screensavers for your phone. Canva are great for making these with as is Desygner. These are apps for your phone as well as online.



Suggested Affirmations:

  • I love myself

  • I am worthy of love

  • I am loveable

  • I let go of all that does not serve my highest good.

  • I give myself permission to be happy.

  • My body is strong and healthy.

  • Thank you for my healing.

  • I am successful and earn what I am worth.

  • I have plenty of money to pay for all of my needs.

  • My business grows in wealth every day. (Yes, it is ok to have money, its an energy exchange).

  •  I am worthy of great success.

  •  I welcome abundance into my life.

  • I am enough.

  • It is safe to trust my intuition.

  • I work with the universe and the universe works with me.
