Morning Meditation Routine

If you can't be at the beach you can definitely visualise it by meditating.


A quick beach meditation:


Start by sitting comfortably, closing your eyes and spending some time just breathing. Then visualise, become conscious of the place you are sitting by looking around at the beach in your minds eye, the water, the sun and the sky. Breathe in slowly and allow the aroma of the beach to fill your lungs. Listen to the waves crashing on the shore. The temperature is absolutely perfect for you. After several breaths, allow your fingers to feel the texture of the sand. Listen to the seagulls in the distance.


When you have finished meditating, it is a good idea to come out of your meditative state slowly. Try taking in a slow deep breath, and as you breathe out count from one to five, then say: ‘I am wide awake’; then open your eyes and smile. What a great way to start or end day! Keep in mind that to experience the benefits of meditation, regular practice is necessary. The good news is, it takes only a few minutes every day to reap those benefits. Once meditating is part of your daily routine, it can easily become the best part of your day.


Today, I started my day by meditating at the beach (P.S. I wasn't actually there, I visualised it and actually felt myself travel energetically to the beach, so much so, that I felt my body there). My meditation wasn't for long, but on closing my eyes I listened to the waves as I breathed in, really feeling present with myself, my body & felt grateful for Mother Earth. This is definitely a benefit of working for yourself. I love having the freedom of either physically going to the beach or spending time meditating myself there. I even visualised that I was sitting on a sunny Queensland beach in front of my home that I am manifesting presently. #bliss
